You can't compare this to the Floyd dude and Chauvin the cop. No matter what, there was no need to have the dude on the ground kneeling on him. I do think the people who were around yelling at the police played a factor because Chauvin appeared to be acting like a smartass and trying to show who is in charge.. Anyway, there are a bunch of different ways this situation can be looked at, but what I am talking about is self protection.
frick that. If you know that by simply just going out of your house and down the road you are putting yourself in harms way, you have three choices.
A. Don't go
B. Bring nothing to protect yourself and just deal with whatever happens.
C. Bring something to protect yourself..
And since I wouldn't consider A an option (if I want to go somewhere I am going to go). I'd just have to figure out away and in this situation it would be to protect myself. If a mob of.. I am assuming mostly teenagers come towards you. Pull your gun. Hopefully they run off, if they don't then.. Well, you have to shoot someone.. I guess I just comprehend the idea that if a mob is coming at you, if you are carrying (in this situation it would be illegal.. So for those who want to be good citizens, they have to just accept that if a mob comes after them they just have to let them whip their arse?
Its illegal for a mob to assault you. Either way, if you live in a city with a lot of crime (which is any city in which there is a population of some amount) you have to protect yourself.
You just have to do what's in your best interest. Just like the politicians who made the laws do all the time.

I'm not going into too many details, but I have a current situation where an individual has threatened my life. I'm dating his baby momma and they're having a custody dispute. He's beaten her before and made multiple threats on her life. I have firearms near me at all times.

This is just my opinion, but if you are carrying don't pull out the gun and think you're going to automatically scare those little shits away. One of them might grab it from you and then you're really fricked. If you do pull it out - shoot. And be mentally and psychologically prepared to do it.

I remember when kids were doing this in Central Park and mugging people.
One girl was raped and beaten into a coma. Some yutes admitted to it but if you thought they were guilty you were racist.

Yes, I did vote for Biden. The only reason I went vote was because in 2016 I didn't vote because I thought it was a shame those were the 2 people America had to pick from.
This past election year I went and was voting against Trump. Biden isn't much better, but IM MY OPINION I thought (and still do) Trump was/is more of a threat to the country than anything. . So yeah, I voted for Biden.. So I guess its my fault a teen mob attacked a firefighter.

Mob looked like a mix of white and hispanic kids. At least violent mobs are becoming more diverse.
