If I remember correctly Carson had five catches for five TD’s for about 300 yds.
Little known: his first catch in the next game was for a TD also, giving him 6 straight catches for TD’s, setting an NCAA record since tied by several others. But in 1977 the ball was not thrown nearly as much as it is today. That’s why it stands out as such a remarkable feat. Helluva game, I’ll tell you that. I was a sophomore.

He had a couple of really good NFL years too. I think he was 1 or 2 in receiving yards one season at K.C. Very underrated Tiger.
