100% agree that the students didn't start this and the blame is on everyone who supported what you're talking about. BUT, two "wrongs" don't make a right.

And yes, in the context of amateur college sports, these latest developments are wrong in that they are antithetical.

point being, it's the schools who created this monster. Major college football is not an amateur sport. There is too much money involved now and its the schools who have pushed for that. We are now simply dealing with a logical circumstance resulting from that. If we want to return the sport to what it was in the 60s, it starts with the schools. Not the players
