mean why do people on this site even try and pretend this is not a sport built on piles of trash?
I like the UFC, but I dont have to try and cover their shite up
Compared to any other major sport I haven’t seen where the ufc is any worse as far as quality of athlete. You rarely hear of a current ufc athlete getting in trouble. You do have some guys like Conor, Jones, and Mike Perry that have been in some bullshite but it’s not really often amongst the population of athletes in the ufc. Especially considering that most people that fight for a living yo be somewhat more aggressive than the average athlete. So in my opinion it’s a easy thing to say but is total bullshite. A lot of these guys and gals have college degrees and are well spoken. Most are super dedicated to the craft and you can tell that they are intelligent in their interviews.

He will blame the Gonezo comment on a language barrier that barely exists for him land his legion of douchebag fans will back him up even though that was as reprehensible a comment as I’ve ever seen.

As it is stated, the rate of this violence in MMA is twice of the general population in the US. The national rate of arrests for these acts is about 360 per 100,000 men. NFL players figures are 210 arrests per 100,000. We regret to say the MMA number is the staggering 750 arrests per 100,000.

I think UFC will continue to grow. I mean it's like hardcore wrestling deathmatches and it's real. I mean seeing a guy break his leg on tv in a sporting even where you're supposed to hurt a guy is pretty cool.

You mean guys that fight in a cage for a living may be a little unstable and violent outside of the ring? Shocking.

In an episode that aired Tuesday night, “Real Sports” cited a Bureau of Justice figure showing that, for every 100,000 men aged 18 to 39 in the U.S., 360 are arrested for domestic violence. Using USA Today’s NFL arrests database, that number is 210 for pro footballers. HBO did its own research and found that the adjusted rate among top-ranked fighters was 750.

I would challenge him to bare knuckle box. Put 5MM up.
ETA
DC is clearly the more powerful fighter right now.

Where is the link? I’d like to read it later.
Ufc typically has 500 or so signed at a time. I rarely hear of any that get arrested.
ComPared to the nfl a few years ago where it was almost every day someone was arrested. Nfl probably has like what 2000 people on contract in a given year?
