Are they kneeling for the rapist or the guy that committed armed robbery? The drug addict with a criminal history longer than every man woman and child in my mostly black neighborhood combined? Let's see...they wanted to be on and competed for a position on the USA team. Yet they won't stand for the National Anthem while this country pays for their training, expenses, etc.?

As I watched Saving Private Ryan for about the 50th time last night, I said to my wife, how the hell can someone not stand for the flag? The flag represents all that those men fought and died for. Saying it stands for racism is just wrong. As they were storming the beach I wondered how many of the trannies would have stayed on those boats and not gotten off. It's sick what people have turned the flag into.

Agreed, friend. There is no doubt this country, like any other, has issues. But the anthem is played in these moments for a reason. To celebrate the good that exists in this country. This moment is to honor the opportunities provided to one and all by the blood spilled for our freedom. I find it ludicrous that Kaepernick kneels as his very existence - a multimillionaire cheered by fans of all races for playing a game - argues against the concept of systematic oppression. But to join the US National team and disrespect the country you supposedly represent, is next level infuriating. If you are so down on the country as to spit in its face at the moment we pause to honor it, DON’T join the team!
