One of the nation's top linebacker prospects will come off the board later this week when DeMario Tolan announces his college commitment Thursday at 3:30 p.m. EST live on CBS Sports HQ, a free 24-hour sports news streaming network. Tolan, who the 247Sports' Composite ranks as the nation's No. 27 linebacker prospect in the class of 2022, is down to five schools: Clemson, Tennessee, FSU, LSU and Miami.

Miami hosted Tolan for an official visit right before the NCAA's recruiting calendar flipped back to a dead period.
"It's a great place. They have great alumni and it's in great city. There's just a lot of things I like there – the people, the coaches," Tolan said.

This is a tremendous pick-up for the good guys.

Kids instincts are just in a different level. Excited to see what he does physically after strength and conditioning get a hold of him. Kid can be as good as he wants to be.
