Bianco does not hit well enough. He's out. Beloso can't hit either.

Also, Milazzo must be replaced. He's the worst hitter I've ever seen at LSU. We can find another great catcher that can at least hit .250.

Bianco was clutch late in the season. There will be a spot for him somewhere.

Why do people keep moving Doughty off 3rd

Dude improved all year & by the end of the year looked like a stud there defensively

Berry is not a better 3rd baseman

Now Lester, don’t you know that any transfer we may get or any player in the portal is better than what we have?

I didn’t move him off third for this exact reason and got downvoted to hell

2- Kessler
3- Boisierre
4- Simon
5- Doughty
6- Thompson
7- Pearson
8- Morgan
9- Crews
DH- Dugas

Berry does not get high marks for his defense, dating back to his high school scouting reports. He is very much a bat-first guy.

I reckon being a draft eligible soph, Johnson has pitched to him “come to LSU to boost draft stock”, therefore I think they’ll find a position for him rather then DH. I lean toward 2B, but 1B Is possible. Though as a 5’11” player, he obviously has no future there.

Doughty has gotten comfortable & really good at 3rd after some growing pains. But he is also in his money year. I feel like he has 3rd settled. Would be a disservice to move him again

I’m pretty sure whatever downvotes you received had exactly nothing to do with Doughty at third.

I’m in the minority in that I think JJ can fix Beloso and have him batting better than ever.

If he’s on the roster next season, that’s my prediction.

Dugas is draft eligible you idiot. I didn’t include him because I would assume he would go if drafted. Maybe you shouldn’t post anymore.

For some bone-headed mistakes he made early in the season, especially for a coaches son, he really made up for it late in the season. Bianco's a keeper.

If Beloso starts I’ll start the first Fire JJ thread.

Both Beloso and Drost had a similar issue hitting. They both would bail with that front shoulder on practically every swing. That leaves them susceptible to any outside pitch or off speed pitch and only able to hit with confidence the middle to inside pitch. They need to be muscle trained to keep the front side shoulder in and trust their hands that they can get the bat head to that inside pitch. One of the drills I like to do with kids having this similar issue is to soft toss pitches by setting up behind the plate and tossing the ball towards the outside/middle of the plate. It teaches hitters to stay on the ball by hitting through it and not pulling off. This helps because the ball is moving away from them. It also teaches them to have an opposite field approach and keep the bat longer in the zone. You can’t pull off with this approach.

I’m not sure why everyone wants Crews in center. While not a bad outfielder,
he has allot of room for improvement. If anything,I could see him moving to left
