Washington DC Restaurant Recommendations Near Nationals Park
I will be hitting up the Nats game vs the Rays this Wednesday, so I would also appreciate all info re: food and drinks around nats park.
My plan so far was to go check out the seafood market at the The Municipal Fish Market @ The Wharf (great steamed seafood), then taking scooters over to the stadium area and checking out Top of the Yard before the game, if we can get in.
ETA: has anyone tried Ambar DC before? I have a reservation there Thurs night. Read great reviews and they have a 2 hour all you can eat/drink option for $65/person. It does not look like it isnt too far from the stadium either.
Also, this guy has a fantastic YouTube page with all things DC travel

The answer to this is The Salt Line
All-Purpose for pizza, aperol spritzes and wine.
Yellow Cafe for great Lebanese pita sandwiches.
Bluejacket brewery for beers
La Famosa for Puerto Rican food
Steamed crabs at the Wharf is a worthy pursuit, as is getting a bar seat at Rappahannock Oyster bar at the Wharf.
Anchovy Social is a new rooftop bar close to Bluejacket that is worth a trip.
Also, Danny Meyer just reopened Maialino Mare, a Roman trattoria close to Bluejacket as well. Lovely pastas and wine and ambiance.
Ambar is Fine, but not necessarily worth it. You can rent bikes/scooters through Uber and bikes through Capital Bikeshare to get around. Just use the bike lanes.

Had Ambar when I went to DC 4 years ago. I thought it was by far the best meal I had while there. Did the all you can eat/drink dinner and it was fantastic.
