Subpoena to testify for automated video footage?

Captured two perps on my home cameras breaking into some of my neighbors' cars last month... in lovely 4K quality. So pulled the footage and provided a copy to the JPSO. Was notified a couple weeks ago by the DA's office that the brainiacs are fighting the charges and now I have been placed on the witness list to testify and to expect a subpoena.
Taking the day off work to sit in court isn't my idea of fun. While the victim (at least this one) has been told they won't need her to testify.
But I need to testify to what? That my unattended camera system captured the footage and I pulled it from the NVR and provided it to the cops? Maybe the public defender wants to challenge the veracity of the footage? After ransacking her cars they looked straight into my cameras and decided to move on.
Backstory, the only reason these clowns are actually facing charges - my neighbor (across the street) had her vehicles broken into at like 4am. The perps being the dumbasses they are stole her handicapped placard and where later stopped a couple miles away high as a kite and found to have the placard in their possession along with a bunch of other things they'd liberated. JPSO came by my neighbor later to verify the placard and other things they had recovered. (for those that don't know, the placards are numbered and tied to a specific vehicle's registration).

Chain of custody.
Verify the video being shown is what you provided to JPSO.

Can you tell them your fee is $500/day?

One: you may need to simply testify that this is your video and you haven't altered it in any way.
Two: I can't believe they are actually going to try to prosecute a breaking and entering of a vehicle.
These days in Portland, that's not even considered a crime.

I hope your video was stored in the cloud. If it was on a NVR or Hard Drive the Atty can ask to take possession of the recording device to have the video source checked. Happens all the time in the commercial world.

The hit has already been put out on you
Better go into witness protection

They're just going to establish where the camera footage came from, that it isn't altered, the timeline of how the footage got from you to the police, etc. Evidence has to be authenticated at trial and the chain of custody has to be established, so you're basically going to prove that this isn't just some random footage they magically discovered.
It probably won't take that long and I imagine, if they're not a complete Micky Mouse organization, they can give you a much more specific time for testimony closer to trial, so you don't have to take the whole day off.

Just got the notice in the mail yesterday evening....nobody to talk to me until Monday.
If they want the NVR they are going to be sadly disappointed, they should have said so a month ago, as it's been overwritten.

Tell them you will show up only if they refer to you as "an expert witness".

This happened to my neighborhood when I lived in Jefferson Parish. I got a call from a probation / parole officer almost 2 years later, asking what I thought about letting the guy out of prison.

You can be compelled to testify. No 5th amendment right as you are not a defendant.
Its what makes our legal system work.
Technically speaking, if this was 30+ years ago, you wouldnt be such a huge pussy like most of this country and would just do whats right.

Possibly why Portland is on the news daily and recognized as a giant shithole.
