My justification is that both are 33 year old qbs that cost to much money & need to much help to achieve those occasional top 10 seasons you mentioned.
Many teams would be happy to have them, & I think the Rams got a good deal when they got Stafford.
However I don’t think either are the qb u can add to any team & become an above average offense regardless of the talent around them.
