Because the silent generation and boomers didn’t put the greatest generation in nursing homes. They stopped whatever they were doing, to take care of their dying elders. Sure.

That's garbage. The boomers left their hometowns behind.

My mother gets upset that I don't have relationships with my cousins like she had with her's.

When she grew up, they all lived within 10 miles of each other, and got together every weekend and spent the summer's on my great grandparent's farm.

But each of her and her 6 siblings left that hometown for college and never came back.

I've met my cousins each a handful of times, and have all only been together two weekends in our entire lives.

Boomers destroyed family in favor of careers in the big city
