I love seeing people bringing up stuff like this when they had been wrong for 2 1/2 years. "Hey everybody, Meachem looks like he might be worth a crap after all! Let's bump all the threads so we can look like geniuses and make a bunch of witty quips and commments!"

Not hypocritical at all.

most comments in this thread were pertaining to people's impatience with him and how stupid it was to give up on him so early considering the guy's potential. Don't get butt hurt because you look like a moron.

its very similar to the morons who cast off shockey after 1 injury plagued season

I see it more an illustration of the beauty of sports.

It seems like a lot of folks want to watch sports simply to be proven right, and thump their chests about it.

Personally, I find it a lot more fun and exciting to be proven wrong on occasion.

It's not. There were two Meahem camps. Bust and You have to wait 3 years before calling Bust. Clearly one group was a bunch of morons who thought they could beat the system and the other group was full of smart people that would have been correct either way.
