How are “Mexican Parade Floats” not illegal?

Mexican Parade Float: a car/truck tethered to two or more vehicles, full of scrap, lawn mowers, etc. headed for the border.
Every time (almost) I’m on I10, I see at least two or three of these things headed west to Texas and eventually Mexico. One of today’s floats consisted of a Camaro pulling a Honda CRV pulling a Camry. They are way over towing limits of the towing vehicle. How are they allowed to keep pulling this shite down our highways?

One time I saw a bus where they cut the back off and shoved a truck in there with a van in tow. If they’re gonna get away with it anyway why not tow the truck and van back to back? Thought that was odd

How frickin dense are you? 90+ percent of "law enforcement" is actually revenue collection. No revenue in stopping those guys, so they get the middle age white guy going 82 mph.

Best one I’ve seen was a school bus full of shite towing another school bus full of shite and a moving truck with an old arse Corolla in it

Mean while we had to put Louisiana plates on all of crew trucks that run from Texas to Alabama because the LA State Police would pull them over nearly every trip across I10.

Once saw a box truck with a car stuffed in the back and towing 2 cars
