I posted this about a month ago..........

You take the Gold line Metrorail from Downtown Union Station to the Memorial Park Station in Pasadena. From there you walk a couple of blocks to the Parsons Building where the free shuttles pick folks up. Get on the shuttle and it takes you right to the FRONT of the Rose Bowl. After the game catch the shuttle from the same spot, back to the Parsons building, walk back to Memorial Park station and take the Gold Line back to Union Station.

The fare for the Gold Line round trip is $3.50. Parking in the underground lot at Union station is $8.00 ALL DAY. I live in Los Angeles and have done this NUMEROUS times. Parking and traffic at the Rose Bowl is HORRENDUOUS. Drive up in there if you dare.....................

Here's the link to the instructions. Please book mark it for future reference. ;-)

How To Get To the Rose Bowl On Football Game Day

By the way, it is NOT dangerous to ride the Gold line to Pasadena. Anyone saying so must live in suburbia and never venture into any major city.

If you’re nervous about that, you can also look for parking in safer areas, some of which is free. Depends what area you’re staying in.
