If you’ve currently got an in-sink-erator, I would go and buy the best model that brand offers. Buying the same brand is important because if you get the same brand, it will directly connect to all of the existing connections. If I remember right you just basically slip a couple of pins in and that’s it.

1HP Evolution Excel, it's $400+ but its what I put in my parent's house after my dad tried to put artichoke leaves through the previous one.
If he fricks this one up he's getting an LC-50 and paying for it this time.
