Buddy, they live in a gigantic bubble where they NEVER hear an idea that runs counter to their groupthink. They are unbelievably insulated from outside influence, which is why they react so harshly when their worldview is rejected or even challenged.
They've been treated like porcelain dolls their whole lives.
Everyone gets a trophy, all ideas have merit, and all love is equal are the foundations upon which their fragile psyches are built.
