I do not understand the requirement of hiring a current big program head coach.
Corbin, O’Sullivan, McDonnell, and Vitello were not head coaches at big programs when hired.
We should be hiring the best available guy under 50 with the best chance of building the next LSU dynasty.

I want to hire the coach with the best possible chance to win a Natty in the next 5 years, then we’ll reevaluate then
