You obviously didn’t do ANY research before making your comment! Vitello has already done wonders for that program in his 4 years there!

You can book it that even as we speak, Skip and the good old boy network are pressuring Scott like hell to hire Bianco.

100%. They can’t let go of the program that they’ve helped run into the ground for their own benefit.

If it’s Bianco, Scott is going to have to barricade the AD building like the US Capitol. Fans will revolt.

If we don’t name a coach by Monday evening you can basically guarantee it’s someone still in the CWS

Because they're Tennessee. We're LSU.

If we are looking at getting the best coach, not the best resume’ I would hope he would be considered at least.

Vitello would not gel with LSU….he is young and inexperienced and his immaturity shows when he constantly jabber jaws with the umpires. The SEC umps are human and Vitello’s SOP will not play in the long run in the SEC. LSU can do better than Vitello

No. I don't think anyone is going to take a lateral move here, and right now that's what Tenn is. I think pulling the coach from Texas Tech, ECU, or Louisville is our ceiling, and that ain't that bad.

Yeah, to hell with the young guy who brings energy and an edge, and who has already proven he can recruit/build an elite roster in a state that doesn’t produce a deep pool of elite talent (which is exactly what Louisiana is).

I would much rather have a 65 year old who can’t decide if he wants to be retired or not.

UT was a disaster prior to Vitello.

They would draw maybe a couple hundred fans during weekend games against SEC opponents. They offered a $5 deal for a GA ticket, hot dog and a drink on the weekends. During mid-week games you could trade a can of cream corn for a ticket. What used to be GA ticket is now reserved seating. The fickle fan base is showing up for a winning team.

Say what you will but he's not a one year wonder. He's turned that program around.

They won’t be a one year wonder if Vitello stays at UT. We’d be lucky to end up with him as LSU’s head coach next year. As far as him being “trashy” he’s just a competitor that just so happened to beat the ever loving ?? out of us.

Tony V just dunked on every last one of yas.. balls in da face down the throats. He is absolutely #1 choice by this group but he will stay at UT because the future is brighter.

Skip will make the coach recommendation, and I think Scott will listen.
