Far too often this kind of shite becomes a witch hunt. Almost always it comes from the female involved who, for whatever reason, believes she was wronged by the man. They will use whatever means they have to destroy the man, even their own children. This happens, more often than most of us know, and the woman rarely ever pays for the damage she has done.

It doesn't take a full-fledged trial with a guilty verdict and sentencing to destroy someone with stuff like this. All it takes is an unsubstantiated accusation, and our media will plaster the guy's picture and name all over in print and online. That same media will make minimum effort to retract or report on the ultimate exoneration, and that story will follow that man for the rest of his life. Meanwhile, the woman will just go on living her life. A District Attorney is supposed to be the buffer in cases like this. Sadly, they often are not.
