It's not as much about IKE as it is the safety of the stadium. They are trying to get some contract people in there to make sure it is safe to have people in the upperdecks

Please let your upper deck be unsafe for one more week. It would be so nice to watch you guys hang 100 on us 5 miles from my house rather than 465. The whole point of traveling was to see a true SEC gamenight experience but from what I read even if it is played there pre and post game activities will be limited, plus its going to rain regardless of a hurricane. If it is there please take pity on me and the four or five other UNT fans who make the trip.

Well yesterday they said the exact opposite, that the stadium will be fine, just concerned about the weather.

I understand about being cautious and all, but that is ridiculous. Tiger Stadium is probably the strongest structure in the state. Its solid concrete. It would take a lot more than 100 mph winds to tear it up. Now, the scoreboards, suites, and shite, thats another story. But the structure itself, would not be damaged from the winds in Baton Rouge.
