18th Amendment is OK. I watched the national championship game there, and it was packed with a lot of LSU fans. The drawbacks for a regular season game are that it has only a few TVs and they will probably all be on the LSU game so you will not be able to watch other games while you watch ours. Also, there likely won't be many fans of other schools there, so you won't get that atmosphere of having fans from lots of different schools around. Another drawback (or advantage depending on whether this is an issue for you) is that, like all bars in D.C., 18th Amendment does not allow smoking.

Bailey's is huge and has a bunch of TVs with practically every game you would want to watch. It will be packed with fans of a bunch of different schools, with VT having the largest contingent. Being in Virginia, it does allow smoking, if that's a consideration for you. Drawbacks of Bailey's primarily relate to the quality of service. With such a huge crowd on game days, they are strangely understaffed and it can take a long time to get drinks/food, etc. Staff do not seem particularly personable or helpful, either. Location is a possible issue, depending on where you're staying while in DC, as it is pretty far outside of the district, but that is mitigated by the fact that there is a metro station just a block or so away, so access is pretty easy.
My favorite spot to watch the games is Crystal City Sports Pub in the Crystal City area of Arlington, 529 23rd St. S., Arlington VA 22202, (703)521-8215. Much smaller than Bailey's (and with MUCH better service), it still has a lot of TVs with just about any game you would want being viewable from wherever you are sitting. Their food is good, too, and they always have several specials on game days. Smoking is allowed. Location is the biggest issue here, as it is about a 10-15 minute walk from the metro, although all except maybe a block or two of that distance is through an underground mall so you are protected from any weather issues for most of the walk. They do, however, have a sizable parking lot that can be really helpful if you are driving. There are a lot of fans of other schools there, so you do get the fun of interacting with them. Georgia and Auburn fans go there a lot, along with Penn State, Ohio State and several others. Drawback of Crystal City Sports Pub is that there usually aren't very many LSU fans there on game days, although there are frequently some.

FYI the food is not particularly good at either place...
