Zero skins on the wall as a coach.

Worth a serious look.

No he’s not.

Just because Alleva shite the bed with Fisher in 2015 and Herman in 206, doesn’t mean LSU should ever settle for hiring an assistant coach from elsewhere to be its head coach in any of the major sports.

Mississippi State’s hitting coach would be a great option for Mizzou or an AAC school, not LSU.

I know a guy who played for him at state. He says that he ran that team when Cannizzaro got fired. Also says he’s a players coach. Not saying he’s my first choice but he’s not a bad choice.

I think Jake will be a good head coach one day, but he's very far down the list for the LSU job right now.

I’m just a fan, so what’do I know. But Skip had no head coaching experience either. He worked out ok.

Jesus. I hate our fan base.

Jake was a finalist for the job in Lafayette after Robe passed before Deggs got it (it was the only fit based on the circumstances).

He will make a great HC somewhere.

He will be an excellent coach one day. Needs to prove that he can manage a program , then he can take a step to LSU. He may be the guy in 10 years.

Exactly
Get a young coach that has the spirit, energy and baseball credentials....less that Natty win nonsense, as the criteria. LM has proven without question having a natty does NOT always mean you are a good coach.
