Quite frankly only hoping that this season and Paul's tenure ends before Monday morning. Its time to bring in a new crew . Thanks Paul, Alan, Nolan & Eddie for your time. We need to welcome a fresh start to begin a new chapter in LSU baseball. We have fallen to near the bottom tier of the SEC under the current leadership. We need an energetic and knowledgeable baseball man to take over.

It’s time for a change but this is hyperbole. The new staff is not going to have a big rebuild on their hands unless roster turnover as a result of the change turns out to be a pretty big net negative. Just with the returning players and recruiting class, minus the obvious draft losses, the team will be improved next year.
