The offense was much better than it is remembered. Jefferson was fricking awful in the post season though, and we couldn't could only do just enough in the GOTC to squeak out the win, so it's remembered as being terrible.

The Bama defense being pretty freaking incredible had something to do with that. This was before other teams were throwing the ball everywhere and Bama’s defense was built specifically to stop LSU’s power run game.
