I don't know that this is terribly far off.

He could've done a better job of picking allies and cleaning house. But he clearly underestimated the depth and breadth of swampers who hate this country or at least love themselves a lot more than it.

It's a Herculean task and it's not easy to fire "civil servants" even if they think they are the masters.

If he wanted to really ensure that he wasn’t fricked with, he’d have abolished every single alphabet soup agency in America and returned the executive branch to what it was when the constitution of this nation was signed and ratified and then told congress to do their fricking jobs once again.
