Fine... A competition perhaps.
Drive through each.
Take whatever path you wish.
Count the non federally funded improvements. Make deductions for every pothole you hit.
High score wins.
450,000 people in East Baton Rouge (+ all of the AP residents that live near Bayou Manchac) vs a couple of dozen swamp people that intentionally build homes in a lake.
I mean, this country did elect Joe Biden. I've come to expect stupid things. But there's no way a damn dam should be allowed on Manchac Road. I know Louisiana sure seems to dislike any kind of development restriction, but that's bad even by their standards. Those houses along Manchac in Spanish Lake need to be on piers, similar to the ones along the diversion canal or along the river in Madisonville.

You can continue to attempt to dehumanize one group vs another, but one group isn't governed by a body who recklessly and foolishly destroyed their own parish with zero regard for their neighbors.
Odd that you bring up politics, because the stupidity of effectively making a bowl, filling it with water, being surprised it is wet and demanding your neighbors towel seems like a certain demographic.

quote:it is crazy you are getting downvoted. But it is the same people that sue USACE when they open the spillways and flood the camps build in the spillway.
