I remember that flood well. My dad wanted to go check on a friend and had me drive him in my truck. I had water breaking over the hood.

And the drainage has been shite since Laura and Delta. Too much debris in ditches. 12" in a day is going to cause problems. However, had this occurred last May, I don't think it would have been to the extent that we saw yesterday.
