The stars just aligned with the NFL schedule reveal and the Bengals are playing the Packers in Cincinnati at 1 p.m. the day after LSU plays Kentucky in Lexington.
For those of you planning on making the trip to Lexington, it’s just over an hour away from Cincinnati and flights into Cincy are actually cheaper. Would be an awesome two-game weekend getting to see the Tigers on Saturday then Burrow, Chase, etc. on Sunday.
I’ll see y’all at both games.

Bring your own food and seasoning. Sky Line Chili and Gold Star Chili are trash.

You would think a city big enough to have a NFL team would have more than 2 restaurants

I believe those are dishes not restaurants

Gold Star Chili is a restaurant chain based in Cincinnati, Ohio, that sells Cincinnati chili. The original restaurant was established in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Mt. Washington in 1965 by four Daoud brothers, immigrants from Jordan. Gold Star Chili is the "Official Chili" of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Skyline Chili is a chain of Cincinnati-style chili restaurants based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 1949 by Greek immigrant Nicholas Lambrinides, Skyline Chili is named for the view of Cincinnati's skyline that Lambrinides could see from his first restaurant, opened in the section of town now known as Price Hill.

Or hit up the Hofbrauhaus in Newport.
You'll thank me later.

First, Skyline Chili SUX BAD! Second, stay in Covington. It’s an awesome city with a trolley that goes to Cincinnati and Newport. It also has a great view of the river and Cincinnati skyline from several hotels. Also, if you like brick oven pizza, there’s a cool hole in the wall in Newport with great pizza- Strong’s.

Both are an abomination. I'm from Texas, the official chili capital of America, and would rather open a can of Wolf Brand or Gebhardt's than partake of that weak, thin concoction called "Cincinnati chili."
If you do intend to eat chili there, pull into the drive-thru at Wendy's and get a bowl of chili and ask for 2-3 packets of chili sauce and crackers. It's pretty good

As an LSU/Packers/Burrow/Chase fan this pleases me. Although the Bengals are now my second favorite team. Even have a Burrow jersey and other memorabilia. I have a tough time rooting for anyone in that game. Probably just root for a lot of points and a Packers close win

The Cincinnati chili isn’t a traditional chili. Ie a stand alone bowl of chili. It’s more of a topping/ sauce cinnamon chocolate hint. The key is the pile a mound of shredded cheese on the chili dogs. Different for sure but tasty. Used to road trip as a kid to see big red machine play in the 70’s.
Yes. Stay in Covington and enjoy. Heck. Might get a reds playoff game (might!)
