Coach O probably wasn't lying/misreading about him tearing it up at practice. Hell, giles was unstoppable at Texas tech and shredded every team they played including Oklahoma when he was there. It just didn't translate to the field for him at lsu. Idk why. That's always puzzled me. I know the sec defenses are much better than he saw in the big 12 but he I though for sure he would be alot more productive than he ended up being for us. We also had a hell of alot of talent for him to compete with for playing time at lsu when he was here. Look at the talent we had lol. Just insane.
