CSB, I lived in Broussard Hall with him in 1998. He gave me his family tickets to the Florida game. Drove me and my girlfriend at the time all the way down there hoping we would repeat our win from '97 (wasn't clear at that point of the season how bad our defense really was) only to watch Thomas Dunson stink it up and get our arse kicked. Dunson was so bad that other players' parents were even yelling about it in the stands. I remember his mom telling Arnold Miller's dad "that's my son you are talking about" to which he said, "well he sucks and needs to be taken out."

Yea he was terrible, but not the only one who stunk in the Tepper Era.

That was a close game.

An LSU defensive lineman was offsides on a 90 yard interception return that was a turning point in the game.

Dunson gets a bad, and largely underserved rap. He was not equipped to play that position, and everybody not named “Tepper”could see that, but who on that team would have done any better? It was Tepper’s stubborn insistence of plugging that round hole with a square peg that caused the poor results. It was Tepper’s fault for running a defense that did not suit his personnel.
