I’m wondering if he will make an exception for cruise ships, since they aren’t technically a business in the state, but simply docking there?

Let's see how that works out for them.

Yeah, not a good look. I would hope they will not get a refund on all their port fees.
Royal Carribean is better and carnival said come on board.
Can’t believe the demand is such they will turn away complete ports that make up probably 50%of their business

There's much worse floating and walking around cruise ships than Covid

I went to the cruise critics board to see the reaction and I was honestly surprised how pro NCL they were about this PR stunt. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have been.

To be fair, cruise ships are pitre dishes of germs

My guess is tourists weren't coming to FLA because Norwegian Cruise Lines was there but Norwegian Cruise Lines came to FLA because tourists were there.

Considering all the Covid-19 outbreaks that happened aboard cruise ships, & considering the PR disaster & financial hit that would ensue if there are more outbreaks, requiring that passengers & crew be vaccinated just seems like a no-brainer.

Vax passports can bec mon chu. I don’t cruise, and my extensive globe trotting days are behind me.
Has anyone else noticed that vax passports are called “green” passports in the EU and Israel? Makes one wonder what a vax passport has to do with the global leftists’ “green” agenda...

Yeah pretty sure that this company would take a massive loss if not go under. Kind of a stupid threat on their end.

There were a dozen ways for Norwegian Cruise Line to quietly circumvent the Florida law if they want passengers and crew vaccinated. Instead, they decided to run their mouthes. TTFN baby!

There are ways around this. Require a test for anybody who can’t produce proof of vaccination before boarding the ship. Make it “voluntary”.
Throwing a temper tantrum against our Governor is not a wise decision as the cruise industry is about to reopen.
