I agree. I like that this just jumps into the episode. As a continuous story about one group of characters it doesn’t really need it. The narration worked best as you transitioned from one story arc to the next. Even the last 3 Clone Wars episodes did not use the narration, since they were pretty much sequential and didn’t need a recap.

I really miss hearing the voice at the beginning though.
New episode was FANTASTIC!
I think they may have set up a story for "The Book of Boba Fett" with the whole Cad Bane/Fennec Shand connection. Well, I hope they did because I want to see a live action Cad Bane.

So Omega is a direct, unaltered clone (besides being female) of Jango Fett. This means she is basically a sort of sister of Boba. I could see this storyline coming up in The Book of Boba.

besides being female
They said she "contains first generation DNA" not that she's "completely first generation DNA," so that's how they're getting around her being female and still first generation.

This was another good episode.
I figured Boba would be the Alpha this is exciting. I can see him being wrapped up into this now, since his value is equal to Omega’s, she’s just easier to find.

I think this would have to be the young Boba from the Clone Wars show.

So was that an early attempt at Snoke in the abandoned cloning tanks? Between this and Mando, Filoni seems to be laying the groundwork to salvage some of the sequel plot points.

So now we can officially bring Frankie Adams to play Omega in the Disney+ verse if she really doesn’t have any other DNA in her. DOOOOOO IT DAVE! Dooooo it!

It was a kaminoan

They'd have to die her hair blonde and age her a bit...but yes.

Kaminoan. But there are some absolute freaks of nature in those tanks if you check the art on the episode guide on Star Wars’ website.

Anyone watch the latest episode yet?

Just finished it. I thought it was good, and I'm glad we're seeing some more of the empire imposing their will on the galaxy.
I still feel like the plot is moving really slow though. Hopefully we get a little bit more action going forward. The season I believe is 16 episodes, so we're almost close to wrapping this up.

Just a so-so episode at best

Not much happened other than Omega flexing her strategy muscles.

Yea, makes me wish Cad Bane could've held her for another couple episodes

Yeah, that wasn’t a very exciting episode. Seemed like mostly a filler episode.

Looks like we are starting to see the real groundwork of the rebellion. If we get that in a “throwaway” episode, I’m happy. Plus we get some character development for Omega.

They learned that maybe the Separatists aren't what they were told during the war, and they're seeing more and more evidence of having been lied to / of how much worse the Empire really is.
They had been taking jobs because they had to, even if they had concerns or were opposed on some level, because they owed Cid a debt. They've also learned valuable lessons about how the galaxy works, and what it may take to survive, due to Cid and those jobs.
But thanks to Omega, they no longer owe the debt - so what do they do now? I think if they hadn't had an episode like this, they would have been stuck in the Cid mission loop forever, so now they have to figure out what to do because they want to and not because it's their only option.

Any idea if this is a one-and-done or will there be more seasons?
