It only produces sound at 90hz.. but as long as the bass hits at that frequency, it’ll be loud as shite.

In all seriousness, I have no idea what their car audio offering is like.

I own some recent vintage Cerwin-Vega bookshelf speakers. I think they're called SL-5Ms.

The are exactly what you'd expect from CV: solid, heavy, and generous with the bass. The crossovers use quality components but are poorly designed by most standards. There's a chasm in the middle-high area of the frequency response curve that makes them pretty bad as anything but a party speaker.

The Dayton B-652s I have in my office and the B-652 AIRs I have in my living room easily blow away the Cerwin-Vegas (at < half the price). I bet a CV 12" would still rattle the windows pretty damn well, though.
