I spent the last week straight completing a renovation and cleaning up around the house and party room for a big family party Saturday. Busted my balls and am pure exhausted from it all but she wanted bbq for dinner today so I went to the store, bought all the shite, came home and stood at a hot pit for an hour.
She’s been nice enough to let me know everything I did wrong the entire time. She’s so great and I’m incredibly lucky.

Believe it or not, garbage disposals are not ment to dump food down, they are ment to break down whatever come off the dishes. I went to a house where this old lady put 20lbs of potato peelings in the disposal and had it and 10’of drain line plugged

This sounds familiar.
I can fix things on the spot, no downtime of say a toilet that won't work for days until a plumber can see it, yet I'll just get called "cheap" for fixing it myself.

I was doing a break job on my wife's car this morning and she made sure I knew how inconvenienced she was when she had to get her mom to pick her up for work

We had a huge burst on our hot water line during the freeze and I cut the pipe and coupled another spigot on and cleaned everything and had us doing laundry in about 45 minutes.
She gave me an appreciation bang for it.
On the flip side she’s a complete a-hole about when I have to do the yard. For some reason it’s always inconvenient when I need to check out for an hour and half 2x a month.
I think it’s because it’s something that doesn’t really affect her for the most part but takes me away every other weekend.
