re: Evidently black parents need to have the same talk with their kids that white parents have

I work with a number of young people of various minorities and it seems the prevalent idea they are taught is that police want a reason to hurt/kill them. Stories of their encounters and their friends' encounters with police are ridden with fear and panic.

Even simple traffic stop stories show a lack of rational thought. Just fear and panic. Its sad really.
