Used them once. Service and price was great, no real complaints there. But when I ended up with a star on the windshield a few weeks later (because Louisiana roads), I brought it to a local place to get it repaired. They looked at it and asked if I had had it replaced recently. I said yes, and they asked by who. I told them, and the guy recommended never using them again because of how thin the windshield was that they put in. He said I was lucky it didn't shatter.
Not sure how much stock I put in that, he could have just been trying to get more business, but I'm at least skeptical of any lower than average prices.
The last time I had a windshield replaced, I used a local guy in Lafayette, and will be using him again in the future if I need.

I worked in the auto glass industry for many years. Most of the mom and pop stores buy their windshields from Satellite. There is only like 3 or 4 big autoglass distributors. So that's a total false statement about Safelite windshields being thin.

I believe they use OEE but you can request OEM.
