Couple years ago my 4th grader comes home talking about this book that his teacher is reading to the class and he really wanted to watch the movie. Apparently they never finished the book... At the end of the movie we were all just staring in stunned silence at the TV, and then both my kids just burst into tears. My younger one didn't sleep for a week.

No idea who thought that movie was a good idea for kids.

PG-13

pg 13 means even a young teen may need parental guidance.

pg requires a parent to prepare and orient the teen.

so...its on you.

I suppose a convo with teacher would have been in order.

educators are familiar with guidance about the appropriate audience for a given book.

I Am the Cheese.

Son had to read it for a high school project and I got curious. We ended up finding it on YouTube broken into like 10 parts about 10 minutes each.

I’m wondering if the teacher was reading it along with the class for the first time. She/he read it a little ahead and realized they done fricked up and canned it.

This one hit me far worse than other dog movies because it’s based on a real dog.

Lots of good ones covered already. "Driving Miss Daisy" rips me up at the end. Brings back something I saw once that killed me inside.

Endgame. Never saw it coming that narcissist Tony Stark would sacrifice himself for humanity. It also may have been the music.

Also in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Yondu telling Peter that Ego may have been his father, but he never was his daddy.

Best of the Best. When Tommy beats Dae Han and spares his life, Dae Han limps across the mat to ask Tommy for forgiveness for his brother and to offer himself as his brother for life

About Time. I'm not sure if it's the actual final scene of the movie, but it was at the end. Went in thinking it was a generic rom-com, but left the movie and went straight to my dad's to give him a hug.

Seven. Didn’t really know much about Brad Pitt or Paltrow at the time. Morgan Freeman and Pitt at the end when he realizes what happened. VERY well acted scene by Freeman and Pitt.

My sister dated an absolute idiot one time.

A bunch of us went and saw the Ant Man movie that came out after Infinity War over Christmas.

Afterwards he said “I don’t know why they keep ending movies like this. They kill half the people in Infinity War and now this? What’s the point?” He was actually pretty down about it. Had no idea Endgame was coming out.

He was a dumb arse, but I’m sure that was a pretty sad run of movies for him. But Endgame must have been incredible for him to see, so he had that going for him.
