A fade is supposed to push the WR to the boundary to increase separation. Brennan’s throw was where it was supposed to be. Johnson’s would have been a pb at best.

Incorrect, he faded it to the boundary. WR breaks 5 yards from a sprint to get under it while the DB would still be on his heels. If the WR can make that grab it’s a nearly indefensible throw.
It’s one throw, but it is an excellent one.

Brennan's throw? That's where it's supposed to be. Max's throw gets knocked down or intercepted by the safety in a game. It looks fine against grass, but it was not a great throw.
