The biggest difference between Baylor and us (besides talent) is their defense. They were unbelievably active on the defensive side last night. Hands in passing lanes, bodying up on the perimeter, closing speed on shooters, etc.

It was a BEAUTIFUL defensive performance that wore out and frustrated Gonzaga which led to open looks on the offensive side.

The crazy thing is that Gonzaga STILL shot 51% overall. But almost nothing came easy for Gonzaga and Baylor harrassed them into 14 TO's. The beautiful part for Baylor is just how much energy they played with, on both sides, from start to finish. They crushed Gonzaga on the glass. And while height, positioning, and athleticism matter, probably the biggest aspect of being a good rebounding team is sheer desire. They relentlessly attacked the glass. If you want to compare that with LSU they had only one guy (Days) play with such energy.
