But you are making a comp between Baylor last night and LSU. As others have pointed out Baylor assisted on 60% of their made FG's. 70% vs. Houston. While they may run a lot of ball screen action it is not simply just to clear space and let the ball handler try to create his own shot.

LSU on the other hand was one the WORST teams in the country in assists per made basket ratio. Ranked 338 out of 347 teams in country to be exact.

Now, LSU was also one of the 5 most efficient offensive teams in the country. So saying their offensive approach was ineffective is just silly. But so is comparing the way Baylor approached things last night to LSU. While some aspects of the offenses are the same. Baylor clearly emphasized player and ball movement while LSU didn't.
