No way José. That's utterly MAD (mutually assured destruction). The days of wars for oil are, I hope and pray, a thing of the past. And surely not a NUCLEAR war.

And the U.S. has technical expertise, the determination, and now with the current administration, the money for R&D on renewables, to hopefully circumvent this all-consuming dependence on fossil fuels--the OLD technology.

Until your side gets over its irrational fear of nuclear, it's going to be fossil or freeze for another 100 years.

If your ideology didn't cry like girls over Nuclear 50 years ago, climate change wouldn't be an issue and we wouldn't be worried about fossil fuels.

No. But that’s the only way we defeat China.

Exactly - a low rate mortgage is one of the best investments during inflationary times. Your house value is increasing, your payment is remaining the same, and the value of the dollar that you are paying is decreasing. One of the few times you win and the bank loses. That is also why no one should be paying an extra penny to their mortgage if the rate is <5%.

If you want to replace fossil fuels tell the greenies to stop clutching their pearls over nuclear plants. Because that's the only answer, not handing out subsidies to your buddies like Solyndra that get swiftly pocketed with no progress. That's what the Halfrican did and that's what this turnip will do, and it will do jack shite to get us out of the fossil fuel business.

If you don't understand that you don't understand energy and you don't understand the simple concept of "follow the money".
