Chris Pettaway was the consensus #1 rated OL in the US coming out of HS in Miami around 1984 or 85.. I don't know if he ever saw the field. I know for sure he never started a game.

I get that Perrilloux wasn’t a complete bust, but if you look at his overall tenure with LSU, it was far too brief. Sure, he had moments, so did Cecil Collins, but the longevity factor is key here. He only started two games in his whole career at LSU (Perrilloux). For the best prospect in the country to only start 2 games before getting kicked off the team, I would say that’s more than disappointing.
