This stat has been padded by the “paid” label more than Pete Rose’s hitting title by being a player/manager and only putting himself in games against the worst pitchers in the league.

I wish LSU would still release actual attendance. But of course they won’t because it got too embarrassing

Good grief.
Why not also blame Obama?
LSU’s fan loyalty arose out of a program that was consistently one of, if not the best in the country.
That program is long gone.
But yes, go ahead and blame Hillary, or whoever.
That will certainly help matters....

I consider our streak unbroken. An * needs to be put by last year and this year because of covid.

The streak was kind of broken in 2007

LSU led in total attendance thanks to playing 4 more home games than Arkansas.

Arkansas led in average attendance by more than 700 tickets sold per game.

I hate to say this but that new facility at UF is really big and nice. It will be difficult to keep up with them unless LSU makes some changes,

You think they’d still lead the nation when they’ll be 1-8 in conference after next weekend? The political butt hurt on this board is beyond reason. Everything is a politician’s fault.
Maybe focus on the shitty performance of the team?!

LSU baseball is gonna draw fans even if they are losing all the games, atleast for a year or two. I will admit the Box is already looking dated. Paul needs to step aside or stay on as the official boss and bring in a younger more motivating underboss type coach. the talent is there but idk I can't put my finger on it.

in attendance

Debatable.
Are we talking paid tickets or butts in seats?
If it's butts in seats, then no.

That’s actually pretty shitty that run is going to come to an end. Recruits always loved hearing that factoid I’m sure. beats playing in front of minor league crowds

JBE is definitely hurting attendance unnecessarily.
Also to blame are:
A Luke warn manager
A bland stadium
An awful game day experience
A terrible home schedule (OOC) every year
A coach who couldn’t get anyone excited for anything
A program that has slipped to the middle of the SEC pack
