I have to go with Nick Mason of Pink Floyd. Not supper fast but ultra creative

Stewart Copeland has always been underrated, imo.

But if he doesn't count, I'll go with DJ Johnson from Khruangbin.

Jack Irons was really good when he was with Pearl Jam. Can't really comment on his time with RHCP because I've never really listened to those albums.

Maybe it depends on the circles we run in.

Everyone I know thinks Jimmy Chamberlin is one of the top 3 current rock drummers. This includes my musician friends as well.
