US $ is not going to collapse. That is decades old fear porn nonsense.
Why? Global reserve currency and the US, as messed up as it is, remains the BEST economy and currency still going in the world.
And hundreds of billions in corruption no longer matter either. Corruption is the new standard and now normal.

US is the best economy and currency today. That does not guarantee it will be tomorrow.

At best though we will go thru some form of japanification. You keep using deficit spending to "create" growth but really you are just borrowing growth from the future.
At worst the delta between the well being of those that own homes and equity securities and the poors will grow so large that friction will be inevitable.
