re: Need your thoughts on an upcoming watch purchase

This is a really nice trio, nice to see the Aquanaut hiding unassumingly on the side. I picked up a green strap when it became a thing but before it was discontinued and John Mayer's comments sent the prices up near $5,000 for two pieces of rubber. It is still sealed sitting in my strap folder as I get queasy every time I think of cutting it to size. Plus it may be the biggest PITA in all of watches to change the strap and the bracelet is even harder, my AD actually sends them to Stern in NYC for changes.

Your entire collection is worth more than you paid for it by a long shot (near twice) if you only paid retail.
