my thoughts? that we should call fat people fat and we shouldn't accept it as healthy

the problem is that a lot of people who are 30 lbs overweight, don't think they are fat because they are not 100 lbs overweight

when they see articles about American beings fat, they immediately think of those obese slobs, but don't realize that the vast majority of those overweight Americans fit in the 20-30 lbs overweight range

but these same people get mad and lose their minds about the fat acceptance magazine covers but don't realize that they themselves have accepted their own fatness

this is evident every time BMI is discussed on this board

If you inferred that me calling the BMI chart antiquated as fat acceptance, then wow..... big reach there pal.



I agree on all points in your diatribe. Was trying to figure out why you where going off on me thinking BMI is antiquated. I simply think you can just measure your waist and it is a much better indicator. Me and you are on the same page.
