I think it's incredibly stupid for the government to require citizens to wear masks.
But once you step into a business, you need to follow their rules. Or you can go somewhere else. I heard that the virus can't possibly spread inside Wal Mart, Lowe's or Home Depot since no restrictions were placed on those businesses during the pandemic. Churches, restaurants, and small businesses were a no-go.
Science and all.

And Trader Joe’s is as granola, tree-hugging, soy boy, earthy, enviro-recycle-organic-nut job- flaky as it gets. What did he expect?

...OR, he can express a spoonful of civil disobedience and pressure these establishments to conform back to a reasonable policy.
That's what happened to put us where we are.

Exactly.
Don't like it, tough, go somewhere else. It is their business. Free market will work itself out if you're in the majority.

I've had to wear masks in the few times I went in a WalMart and Home Depot. Does that not count as a restriction?

I agree, if a restaurant has a dress code I will comply. If a business says no pets, I won't bring one in.
I see no point in being so confrontational about this, IMHO where one if the business requires, and don't if they do not. But I know some personally who disagree and want that confrontation.
