The husband probably thinks it’s pretty good when he can land the occasional 5 or 6 that’s willing to let him get his dick wet. He probably changes his mind when he realizes his wife can get on Tinder and get railed by a different dude every night of the month with very little effort.

This is exactly it! I knew of a couple who had an open marriage - everything was fine as long at it was only him sleeping around, or threesomes with his wife and another woman. The minute she tried to hook up - he’s get pissed, block her debit and credit cards and leave the house so she had to take care of the kids.
They ended up divorced bc her dad was his boss, and the wife caused a lot of trouble between the two - although I wonder if any truth was in the explanation of the divorce.
