re: Miter Saws: Sliding vs Non-sliding / What should I know?

I bought a craftsman slider years ago for home projects. My only complaint with it (and this may be for all sliders) is that it doesn't have a front stop available for crown molding. Just something to think about if you plan on cutting crown molding with it. I picked up a miter box for those cuts.
